Au Jus opened in 2012 in a small shop on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, serving a selection of roasted meats, delicious sandwiches, and homemade soups. Five years ago, we dramatically expanded our menu to include authentic Oklahoma barbecue, along with plant-based and vegetarian options, traditional barbecue sides, and delectable desserts. Reflecting our dedication to BBQ, our name evolved to Au Jus Oklahoma Barbecue. While the pandemic forced the closure of our Upper East Side location, it also ignited a passion to bring the best Oklahoma BBQ to discerning NYC BBQ lovers. That’s why we’re thrilled to be serving up smoky goodness at three new Manhattan locations in the Upper West Side, East Harlem, and Washington Heights!
